No. The Language of Bass is built around hearing and understanding, not notation. If you can play an instrument, you are ready.
Is this for complete beginners?
This course assumes some existing playing ability. You should already be comfortable holding down a basic groove on the instrument. If that is you, this framework fills in the foundation you never got and finally makes sense of what you have been doing by feel.
