Do this first

1. Print it. A PDF on your phone doesn't get practiced. Put it on your music stand.

2. Go to page 2, Drill 1. Thumb on the open E every beat. Your fretting hand drops on every "and." That hand is muting, not slapping.

3. Metronome at 80. Five minutes. That's the whole assignment today.
